What to try
- Hold the toy at your toddler’s standing eye level and encourage them to come and get it.
- If they want you to walk with them, place the toy on a chair or table at their eye level and walk to it together.
- When your toddler asks you to pass or bring something, hold it at eye level and encourage them to come and fetch it.
Good to know
When toys are at eye level, this encourages your toddler to get used to moving while looking up, and not toward the floor.
