What you need
- A sponge or flannel
- A bath, shower or paddling pool
What to do
- Fill the sponge or flannel with water.
- Tell your toddler that you’re going to pretend it’s raining.
- Gently squeeze the water out of the flannel onto your toddler. Saying, “It’s raining on your arm” or whichever body part the rain touches. If your toddler is not keen on having a wet face, avoid raining on their head.
- After a few goes see if your toddler can say where the water is falling.
