Curiosity cups – making a pouring game for your baby

What you need 

• Several small cups, small enough for your baby to hold 
• Materials to fill cups with. These could be super messy like water or baby bubble bath, or dry items, like flour or scraps of fabric – or a mixture of both! 

What to do 

1. Settle your baby down comfortably in a sitting position, with support if they need it, and offer them the cups over a tray or blanket (to contain as much mess as possible).  
2. Let your baby pick up and explore the cups. Perhaps they will pour everything out or stick their hands in!  

Always supervise your baby as they will want to taste-test the contents of the cups.  

Good to know 

This is a perfect game to take outside. You can fill cups with water, soil, grass, leaves or sand to make cleaning up even easier to brush away!
