What to do 

  1. Ask your toddler to help you pull washing out of the machine or dryer. 
  2. See how they use their body when exploring the weight of the different objects.  
  3. Watch how they use their knowledge of properties of objects as they choose how to pull. Does your toddler go to pull out socks with all of the power of their body? Or do they adjust their strength so that they don’t fall over?
