Can we fix it – get your toddler involved in everyday tasks

What to try 

• Whenever there is a bit of a spill or something that needs fixing, ask your child about how you can fix it, including what items you might need to do it. 
• For example, if they spill a drink say, “How could we clean it up?” 
• Give your toddler time to answer, or to go and get a cloth. 
• Let them clean up the spill themselves, or if you prefer you can have a cloth each so you can clean with them.
