Again, again – repeating your baby’s favourite games to encourage interaction

What to try 

• Think about the games your baby enjoys, this might be playing with a favourite toy, a song or game with you.  
• Play the game with your baby but then pause before you repeat it.  
• Wait until your baby gives you a cue to carry on, this could be looking at you, making a sound or wriggling. You could say, “Again”, then repeat the game. 
• Don’t forget to add your baby’s favourite games to your scrapbook, they will be lovely to look back on in the future.
