Checking your stairs are safe for your toddler to climb

What to do 

• Keep your stairs clutter free. 
• Remove any items that have been placed there temporarily.  
• If you have stair gates fitted, check that these are closed when you don’t want your toddler to attempt the stairs.  
• Show your toddler how they can use the handrail for support.
