What to try
- Have a kitchen disco before dinner time. Pick some favourite songs and dance together, waving your arms and clapping in time to the music to encourage your toddler to use both arms (and both legs) in their own dance.
- Why not pop ‘Hokey Cokey’ on and dance it through with your toddler. This song encourages them to move both arms and legs and involves a lot of coordination and jumping, which is great for developing bilateral movement and control.
